What is NSA’s service approach?
We take an advisory approach with our clients. Our first steps are to work with our clients to identify challenges and problem areas, and then to design and implement essential processes and tools.
Does NSA provide temporary services?
No. We focus on long-term accounting and reporting solutions for properties, portfolios, funds, and related entities.
Does NSA perform special projects?
Yes, for clients who have contracted with us for long-term accounting services.
Does NSA work remotely?
Our employees are full-time and work every day in NSA offices in Los Angeles and San Diego. While we aren’t typically in our clients’ offices, we are available when you need us.
Can clients approve invoices remotely?
We utilize electronic accounts payable solutions that allow invoices to be viewed and approved by way of an app installed on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
How is my engagement staffed?
We build full accounting departments to provide comprehensive accounting services. Our smaller clients may utilize a fractional portion of a department, sharing that department with other clients. This allows NSA to deploy the right skills and experience when and where needed.
Do I need accounting software?
Clients can opt for our pre-deployed version of Yardi Voyager. We can get you up and running in days. We can also work with your own software, provided that it meets our standards and can be accessed efficiently online—which is the case with Yardi Voyager.
Can clients access NSA’s software?
Yes. Clients may access their data to generate reports, perform inquiries, or approve invoices and leases.
What precautions does NSA take to secure client data?
We pursue data security by working with a limited number of established and recognized application providers that we believe provide reliable and robust data security features. These products also support business continuity by backing up data in multiple secure locations and maintaining uptimes of 99.9% or better.
To reduce the likelihood of human error, we operate a program of in-house security training that all personnel must complete.
